Russell's Reserve "Argonaut Wine and Liquor" Bourbon Review

Man these Russell’s Reserve picks piss me off to no end. You have some that are knock your condoms off delicious and then you get some that wouldn't interest a Kennedy in a car. I'm sure that's virtually every single barrel program out there but these have been particularly offensive in that regard.
I have no idea about who Argonaut Wine and Spirits are. A buddy bought it while he was in Denver so we put our mouths to it.
In da nose I got a WILD (lololol) amount of oak and some light citrus. It was underwhelming. In da mouf I got some shocking earthy notes like grass, tobacco and soil. It was a very down to earth whiskey...hurrrrrr.
This is an average bourbon for people in Colorado. That is all.
