This is one of those wines that you’re either going to be really surprised by or run out into the street and hurl it at your neighbor's F-150 because it's awful. The name of the people that "cellared and bottled" it (more to come on that) is Secret Indulgence which sounds like an edible underwear company and that usually means garbage liquid. Keep reading to find out.
As I mentioned this, "Secret Indulgence" edible underwear and wine storage co. is most likely some people that don't own any vineyards but buy the juice to store and bottle at their facility. This is beneficial for lazy people that own vineyards but don't want to actually make wine. The circle of laziness. I have no idea if that's what they do because I don't care to research but it's highly probable based on the label.
So let's talk about this wine. In da nostrils I get a lot of earth notes because, as it's told by the elders, it comes from the ground. In da mouf I get some red delicious apple (the skinnnnn) and heavy cherries on the finish. It starts out very rich but tapers off nicely into a dryer wine with noticeable tannins.
I would have given this a 3+ rating but I'm not wild about the initial heavy fruit - if it maintained the dry characteristic I woulda been real happy. It's a good wine - if you get it you will probably like it. If you don't buy it you will save $25. Math.
